- : I just tried it!
-
- : When the 020 writes to chipMem 8bplsLoRes it manages 50fps!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
- storing each 8 cycles.
-

- : And C2P-needs a fast processor more than fast Chip-RAM!
-
- the problem is even just a fastmem read lets it drop to 12 cycles.
- don't know if a synchronous 040 could get it in still 8 cycles.
- I guess the bus is very busy withing that 8 cycles doing the chip store.
-
- my drea Ami's chipmem is 20ns dual ported ;) with a 24-to-ham-8 converter
- when writing to chipmem ;) or better, overlaying 2 24bit playfields.
